J&K govt works on plan to develop modern infra

Jammu and Kashmir government is working on a comprehensive plan to develop modern line infrastructure facilities across the state, Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla said.

He said that there was no constraint of funds under development sectors like roads and bridges, public health, education.

He also said that the government was committed to make available all basic amenities in every corner of the state. Liberal funding is provided to the departments to meet the development related demands of the people, he said while interacting with the people at a Public Grievances Redressal Camp held at Upper Gaddigarh.

Bhalla said that instructions have been issued to concerned departments to complete all the new projects being executed in their jurisdictions and make optimum use of funds. He urged the people to personally monitor the development works being executed in their respective areas.

The minister said the state government sanctioned Rs 71 crore for construction of 6-storey Maternity hospital within Gandhi Nagar hospital premises. He said that the hospital would be constructed with all facilities at par with SMGS hospital.
