Environment clearance for Telangana projects

The Telangana Government will soon secure environmental clearances for setting up power projects with a total installed capacity of 7,600 MW in Nalgonda district. The government also plans to be power surplus within three years, will augment fresh capacity and may develop power generation plants to ensure transparency and accountability.
