Odisha govt to set up housing units

The state government has plans to set up 5,000 affordable housing units for the urban poor under the PPP model. The project will be located in the outskirts of Bhubaneshwar. The H&UD Department identified around 100 acre for the project. The request for proposal (RFP) for the project is expected to be floated soon. This is the first phase of the state government's plan to construct around 10,000 affordable housing units, which is estimated to be around Rs 1,680 crore. Contact: Government of Odisha.
