SAIL lines up Rs 600 bn plan for state

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) plans to invest around Rs 60,000 crore in the Bokaro and Sindri areas in the coming 10 years to boost evelopment in the area.The company will set up a steel plant of 5.6 mtpa capacity, a fertiliser plant of 1.15 mtpa and a power plant in Sindri district of Dhanbad. SAIL will invest around Rs 34,000 crore in it.
