State govt to prioritise irrigation projects

The Andhra Pradesh Government intends to prioritise irrigation projects and make the state drought-proof within a period of five years. The state government has said that on-going projects in this sector will require an outlay of Rs 17,500 crore, excluding the Polavaram project.
