Cidco to start land acquisition

Cidco will acquire 400 hectare soon to develop a port city in the JNPT influence area (JNPTIA). This acquisition will be under the 22.5 per cent compensation model followed for the airport project. The port city will be part of JNPTIA, a vast landmass encompassing parts of Navi Mumbai, Uran taluka of Khopta and also Naina. The port city is part of the influence area.It will have a huge logistic hub for an orderly arrangement of port-bound heavy transport vehicles.
