MoUs signed with foreign countries for port development

According to the Ministry of State for Road Transport and Highways and Shipping, India has concluded five MoUs with foreign governments in the last two years. MoUs have been concluded with Iran for development of Chabahar Port; with South Korea on co-operation in the fields of maritime transport and logistics; with Jordan on maritime transport including ship building; and with Spain on cooperation in port matters. Further, Cochin Shipyard, Kochi, has also concluded several MoUs for manufacture of different types of sea vessels.
