Queensland clears port expansion

Adani Enterprises and GVK´s plan to expand a port for coal projects, have received clearance from Queensland´s new state government. Adani´s Carmichael project in the untapped Galilee Basin, involves dumping 3 mn cu m of soil dredged at the port of Abbot Point into the sea about 25 km from the Great Barrier Reef.
