Telangana to strengthen road infrastructure

The Telangana Government plans to strengthen its road network by infusing Rs 10,000 crore in the next two years. The State Road Transport Corporation is likely to get additional 1,000 buses this year and has allocated Rs 4,000 crore in its first budget for strengthening the state´s road infrastructure. The government plans to undertake double-laning of roads connecting mandal headquarters to district headquarters at Rs 400 crore.
