Durakraft Focuses on Automation in uPVC Profile Manufacturing

Durakraft Extrusions is strengthening its uPVC profile manufacturing processes through automation, raw material controls and quality checks, with a focus on consistency and long-term performance in door and window applications.
The company says it follows the EN 12608 standard for its profiles and aligns manufacturing practices with European quality benchmarks. It also cites ISO, BIS and IGBC certifications as supporting its quality approach.
Raw material selection includes the use of lead-free calcium-zinc (Ca-Zn) stabilisers. According to Durakraft, its manufacturing process is largely automated, covering raw material processing, profile production, quality checks and final finishing.
Ankit Modi, Managing Director, Durakraft Extrusions, said: “Quality in uPVC profile manufacturing depends on much more than the finished product. It starts with the quality of raw materials and chemicals, continues through controlled production and automated processes, and ends with consistent inspection and finishing.”
The company’s approach focuses on maintaining consistency from material selection through to final product delivery, using controlled production and inspection practices.
Durakraft also provides technical guidance, training, marketing assistance and product support to fabricators, helping them apply its uPVC profile systems in construction projects.

Cement manufacturers in India are likely to raise prices by Rs. 10-15 per bag from mid-October, as they seek to offset persistent increases in power and fuel costs.
