Bharathi steps in Maharashtra

International cement manufacturer Vicat Group recently launched Bharathi brand of cement in South Maharashtra, the cement for which will be supplied from the company's new plant at Gulbarga district in Karnataka. The Gulbarga plant is a JV between Vicat Group of France and Sagar Cements with 2.75 mtpa capacity. With this, Vicat Group's cement capacity in India has gone up to 7.75 mn tonne a year.
