Holcim-Lafarge divest assets for $7.3 BN

Building-materials company CRH Plc will be acquiring assets worth $7.3 bn from the Holcim Lafarge merger. To move ahead with the merger that will combine cement-and crushed-rock operations with $40 bn in annual revenue, the companies will need to divest assets with a revenue of around €5 bn.
