Shiva Cement to expand Orissa plant

Shiva Cement has entered into an MoU with the Orissa State Industries Department for capacity expansion of the Kutra (Sundergarh) cement plant and the split grinding unit at Jajpur. The expansion plan involves an investment of Rs 800 crore. The company intends to scale up the capacity of the unit from around 0.132 mtpa to one mtpa and raise the capacity of the split grinding unit near Jajpur from one mtpa in Phase-I to 2.6 mtpa.
