Ramco Cements, RR Nagar plant gets a series of awards

Ramco Cements, Ramasamy Raja Nagar, Virdhunagar has recently bagged a series of awards in various fields.

Under CSR activities, the plant received the Best CSR awards for the CSR work in Virudhunagar and Madurai District. These awards were given on 15 August by the District Collectors of these districts - J Meganatha Reddy, the District collector of Virudhunagar and Aneesh Sekhar, the District collector of Madurai.

Also, the thermal plant of Ramco Cements, RR Nagar was awarded the "Best Water Efficient Plant <=500 MW".

This award was given by Mission Energy Foundation under the 3rd Edition of Water Optimization Virtual Conference and Awards on 26 and 27 August 2021. Ramco Cements, RR Nagar is the only private sector cement plant in Tamil Nadu to get this award.
