M. R. Shah Group Deploys Blue Energy Motors LNG Trucks

M. R. Shah Group has deployed double-tank liquefied natural gas (LNG) heavy-duty trucks from Blue Energy Motors to strengthen its long-haul freight operations. The vehicles will transport non-hazardous chemicals from Kutch, Gujarat, to destinations across North India, supporting greater operational efficiency and lower-emission logistics.

Blue Energy Motors' double-tank LNG trucks offer a driving range of up to 2,400 km on a single fill, reducing the frequency of refuelling stops on extended routes. The company states that the vehicles can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 30 per cent compared with conventional diesel-powered trucks.

Archit Agrawal, Director, M. R. Shah Group, said, ""In our business, keeping goods moving efficiently across long distances is essential. Blue Energy Motors LNG double-tank trucks offer the range required for our operations from Kutch to North India, while supporting reliable transportation and better fleet utilisation. Adopting this technology is a practical step towards improving operational efficiency while progressively moving towards cleaner freight transportation.""

Anand Mimani, CEO – EV & New Energy Business, Blue Energy Motors, said, ""We value M. R. Shah Group’s confidence in our LNG-powered heavy-duty trucks and its commitment to exploring cleaner solutions for long-haul transportation. The adoption reflects a forward-looking approach to freight operations, where operational efficiency and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. At Blue Energy Motors, we remain committed to supporting our customers with reliable, high-performance solutions that contribute to lower-emission freight movement and the evolution of India’s logistics sector.""

Blue Energy Motors continues to expand its presence in sustainable freight mobility through LNG-powered and electric heavy-duty trucks. The company has deployed more than 1,400 green heavy-duty trucks across major freight corridors in India, collectively covering over 150 million km.

According to the company, these operations have helped reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 44,000 tonnes, equivalent to the carbon absorption of approximately 1.8 million trees.

Through its integrated approach combining advanced truck technology, energy services and maintenance support, Blue Energy Motors aims to accelerate the adoption of cleaner commercial transportation and support the decarbonisation of India's logistics sector.
