Adani and NTPC sign five agreements

Adani Enterprises recently signed five agreements with NTPC to supply around 4 mn tonne of coal to NTPC’s 14 power stations to meet their coal blending requirements. Imported from global sources between March to June 2012, 1 mn tonne each will be sent to NTPC’s Talcher, Farakka and Kahalgaon stations, while 0.5 mn tonne will reach Simhadri and Ramagundam, 0.8 mn tonne at Dadri, Rihand, Singrauli, Tanda, Unchchar and Vindhyachal, and 0.7 mn tonne will reach Korba and Sipat stations.
