Gujarat allots land for power project

The Gujarat Government recently allotted 200 acre to Videocon Power for its proposed 1,200 MW coal fired power project at Pipavav. The Rs 8,000 crore project has completed the entire 1,100 acre land acquisition and expects to invest Rs 5,000 crore for the Phase-I and Rs 3,000 crore for the Phase-II of the project.
