Analysts feel that in the coming quarters Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys (IMFA) may benefit from the rise in ferro chrome prices and the commissioning of its 2 x 60 MW captive power plant which is expected in the July-September 2012 quarter. The operating margin of IMFA has been under pressure over the past four quarters as prices of ferro chrome declined sharply during the second half of 2011 whereas input costs kept increasing.
