RINL sinter plant operational

The RINL sinter plant, which has a capacity of 3.6 mtpa, is a part of the 6.3 mtpa expansion undertaken by the public sector steel giant. The entire risk analysis and mitigation plant to ensure full safety of the commissioning activities has been vetted by MECON, as a third party accessor. The plant is expected to increase production of blast furnace-3 apart from energy efficiency and reduction in cost of production.
