Adani Green Energy secures 450 MW ISTS-connected wind power project

Adani Renewable Energy Holding Fifteen Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has received a Letter of Award (LoA) for setting up a 450 MW wind energy project.

According to the sources, AGEL participated in bidding by the Solar Energy Corporate of India Limited (SECI) for setting up a 1,200 MW inter-state transmission system (ISTS) connected wind power project and received LoA for setting up a 450 MW wind power project under the tender.

The fixed tariff for this project is Rs 2.70 per kWh for 25 years.

Now, the total renewable energy portfolio of AGEL is 20,284 MW capacity, out of which 5,410 MW projects are operational, 5,724 MW capacity projects are under construction, and 9,150 MW capacity projects are near construction.

Near construction means that the Letter of Award is received, and the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) has to be signed.
