Bolt.Earth partners Ather to enable Blaze DC charger discovery on Ather App

Bolt.Earth has announced a strategic partnership with Ather Energy to enable Ather riders to discover LECCS-enabled Blaze DC fast chargers directly on the Ather App and scooter dashboard.

Under the integration, Ather riders can locate compatible chargers in real time, while booking and charging will be carried out through the Bolt.Earth EV Charging App. The companies said the collaboration is aimed at making fast charging more predictable, accessible and seamless for LECCS-enabled electric two-wheelers across India.

As part of the partnership, over 195 Blaze DC 3 kW fast chargers equipped with Type 7 connectors (LECCS standard) are now available across more than 100 cities. Key markets include Bengaluru, Mysuru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Kochi and Kozhikode. Blaze DC chargers offer fast charging of up to 40 km range in 15 minutes, helping reduce downtime for daily commuters.

Bolt.Earth said it will further expand charging options for LECCS-Type 7 compatible two-wheelers and three-wheelers in the coming months with the launch of 6 kW and 12 kW Blaze DC chargers. The companies added that the partnership supports Bolt.Earth’s open-network approach and aims to ensure charging infrastructure grows alongside India’s increasing adoption of electric two-wheelers.

S. Raghav Bharadwaj, CEO & Co-Founder, Bolt.Earth, said, "Easy access to fast charging is the cornerstone of a truly scalable EV ecosystem in India. It should feel as natural as refueling: quick, simple and always within reach. Our partnership with Ather Energy is transforming that to a reality, bringing reliable fast charging to riders across 100+ cities. By integrating LECCS-enabled Blaze DC chargers nationwide, we are ensuring uncompromised convenience and speed at scale. This is about building confidence in everyday journeys and making India’s EV transition effortless for everyone."

Aravind Prasad, Head of Charging Infrastructure, Ather Energy, said, “Making charging simple and dependable is key to a good EV ownership experience. Collaborations such as this with Bolt.Earth extend that ease, over and beyond our own charging network, giving Ather riders more places to charge, whilst keeping the experience predictable and seamless. This is an important step towards making every day riding feel effortless for customers."

The companies said the collaboration is a significant step towards advancing fast-charging adoption for electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers, reducing range anxiety and supporting a rider-first EV ecosystem in India.
