CA Shersingh Khyalia appointed as CEO of Adani Power

Adani Power announced that its Board of Directors (BOD) has approved the appointment of Chartered Accountant (CA) Shersingh B Khyalia as the chief executive officer (CEO) of the company.

Adani said that Khyalia has over 32 years of experience in managing the complex business of the power sector, including power generation, transmission and distribution.

The company added that his experience spans power trading, legal, regulatory, commercial, finance, accounts and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) management aspects of the power industry in India.

Previously, he had worked as a managing director in Gujarat Power Corporation Limited (GPCL), gaining experience in the renewable power sector and the development of ultra mega renewable energy parks.

Moreover, Adani Power shares increased by 0.14% on Tuesday at Rs 108.85 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
