Datta Power Infra commits Rs 50 billion to Rajasthan's RE sector

Datta Power Infra has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Rajasthan government to invest Rs 50 billion in renewable energy initiatives. The agreement was finalised in Jaipur and marks a significant step in advancing the state's green energy capabilities.

The company plans to establish 1,000 MW of renewable energy capacity, including solar, wind, and hybrid projects. These initiatives will span across the districts of Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Nagaur, Pratapgarh, and Jodhpur, creating employment opportunities for 500–750 people.

Rajeev Kumar Bansal, CFO of Datta Power Infra, stated, "With our investment of Rs 50 billion in Rajasthan’s wind, solar, and hybrid energy projects, we aim to drive sustainable growth while significantly contributing to India's renewable energy goals."
