KPI Green Energy Wins Rs. 20.25 bn Rajasthan Solar EPC Order

Gujarat-based renewable power generation company KPI Green Energy announced on September 29 that it had received a work order valued at approximately Rs. 20.25 bn, including taxes and GST, from NACOF Oorja Private (NOPL). The order covers turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for a 500 MW/550 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) power project in Rajasthan.

The project forms part of NOPL’s 5,000 MW solar PV power park being developed at Village Dantoor in Tehsil Khajuwala, Bikaner district. NOPL is a subsidiary of NACOF, and the project has been awarded by a domestic entity under a turnkey EPC arrangement.

KPI Green Energy will undertake the complete design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the plant. Its scope includes civil works, PV modules, module mounting structures, inverters, inverter transformers, high-tension switchgear and associated electrical systems.

The contract also includes a 33 kV transmission line and evacuation bay, as well as supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and monitoring systems. The EPC works are scheduled to be completed within 12 months of the project site being handed over, up to the commissioning stage.

The company said the order followed a 500 MW/550 MWp solar balance-of-system package awarded to it by NTPC Renewable Energy at Bikaner earlier in 2026. It added that the latest contract would strengthen its EPC order book and provide revenue visibility for the coming year. KPI Green Energy also said its promoter, promoter group and group companies had no interest in NOPL, and that the contract was not a related-party transaction. Shares ended at Rs. 373.70 on the BSE, down Rs. 17.15, or 4.81 per cent.

Interview with: Lalit Das, Founder & CEO, Agentra AIWhy the next phase of supply chain technology will be about AI that acts, not just advises?Supply chains no longer have a visibility problem. They have a decision-latency problem. It takes about 8.7 hours to detect a disruption and more than 40 more to understand its impact, all before anyone acts. Meanwhile, disruption costs the global economy an estimated $184 billion a year.Enterprises already own excellent systems of record. What they lack is a system of action.
