Smartgrid Launches Solvyn AURA, Targets 200 GW in India

Smartgrid Analytics has launched Solvyn AURA, an indigenous AI-powered decision and revenue intelligence platform for renewable energy and battery storage. The company plans to serve more than 200 GW of renewable energy project capacity in India over the next five years.

Shri Manu Srivastava, IAS, Government of Madhya Pradesh, launched the platform at the Smartgrid Analytics booth during Renewable Energy India Expo 2026.

The company has signed an agreement with BluPine Energy and other independent power producers (IPPs) to deploy AURA across a portfolio exceeding 1 GWh in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Rajasthan. Deployment will be phased in line with project commissioning schedules and subject to mutual agreement.

AURA brings together generation forecasts, plant data, market signals and asset performance information to support scheduling and dispatch optimisation. Its capabilities include battery charge and discharge recommendations, firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) contract management, compliance reporting and decision support for the Day-Ahead Market, Real-Time Market and Green Day-Ahead Market. The platform is also designed to help operators assess revenue opportunities, arbitrage and deviation exposure.

Unified dashboards and audit trails will provide operational visibility to BluPine Energy’s teams. Digital twins, constraint modelling and scenario simulation are among the platform’s other capabilities. Integration with plant monitoring and control systems, battery management and power conversion systems, forecasting services and market data supports planning within configured asset limits and control permissions.

Venkata Krishnan, Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer, Smartgrid Analytics, said AURA is designed to address operational challenges in renewable energy and storage, with the company also pursuing international growth in MENA, Australia and the United States.
