KVB Reddy, Managing Director & CEO, L&T Hyderabad Metro RailGood evening everyone. First of all, I would like to thank CONSTRUCTION WORLD for conferring this award. I would also like to congratulate all the award winners. When I look back at three-and-a-half decades of my professional journey, starting from way back in 1983 with NTPC followed by 22-and-a-half years with SR Group and, currently, the past three years with L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail, it has been a great journey with a lot of learnings. I would personally like to thank all the people with whom I have worked and the organisations with whom I have grown, step by step, to my current position—and the result has been this award. I am extremely happy about my professional growth. We have seen many testing times in the past three-and-a-half decades; however, the current COVID-19 situation has literally pushed back the entire global economy. And we have not been spared, including our current business in L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad. But we are putting in all our efforts to come back with the new norms of the life; we are adopting these and will surely come out of this situation. Also, very soon, we are already seeing a lot of improvements happening. This is going to be a real-time life experience for all of us and it will enhance our resilience to come out of any crises in future as well. I humbly thank CONSTRUCTION WORLD and the jury once again. This award today only reiterates the fact that a lot more hard work needs to be put in by me and my team. Good luck to all—stay safe, stay healthy. Thank you once again.
