Himatsingka Seide to set up 12.5 MW power plant

Himatsingka Seide is planning to set up a 12.5 MW thermal coal-based captive cogeneration power plant at its bed linen manufacturing facility at the Hassan SEZ. It has also successfully commissioned Boiler – I in the first phase of the project, which will ensure power generation of 6.25 MW along with the requisite requirement of steam.

Further, the company is looking to commission second boiler, having power generation capacity of 6.25 MW, in March 2010.
