SAEL Industries has commissioned a 298 MW (DC) solar power project in Jalore, Rajasthan, through its subsidiary Sunfree Energy RJP1 Pvt. Ltd. Spanning over 1,000 acres, the project is linked to a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services Ltd. (RUVITL) at an electricity tariff of Rs.2.61 per kWh. The project utilizes advanced TOPCon solar PV modules and is designed to strengthen Rajasthan's power supply, with the capacity to support grid integration and reduce transmission losses.
