Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will soon be presenting the Master Plan for Delhi (MPD) 2041 to its board for approval before forwarding it to the Centre for approval and official noti. The MPD 2041 draft was approved by the authority in April 2021 and placed in the public domain in June 2021. It had been followed by comprehensive consultations with many stakeholders and citizens with the majority of the members' valuable suggestions being included in the plan. The suggestions largely relate to the environment, economy, shelter and social infrastructure, mobility and physical infrastructure, spatial development strategies, and so on and have been deliberated upon in detail by the advisory council. DDA officials have disclosed that 14 meetings of the Board of Enquiry and Hearing have been held between October and November 2021. The draft had been modified as Public.
