The areas around the Yamuna Expressway, which anticipate an economic windfall from the Noida International Airport in Jewar, will have 16 new sectors over the coming two decades to provide an estimated population of 43 lakh. These new sectors will be included in the 2041 master plan of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), which governs the area. As per the master plan, the new sectors will have a population density of 126 people per hectare compared to 150 people now.
