MahaRERA Crosses 50,000 Housing Projects Milestone

Marking its seventh anniversary, the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has registered over 50,000 housing projects, becoming the only state in India to reach this milestone. Maharashtra now accounts for more than 35 per cent of all residential projects registered under RERA across the country.According to data from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, India has a total of 144,617 housing projects registered with RERA bodies. The West Bengal government is preparing approximately 7.09 acres of land at the Kharagpur General Industrial Park in West Midnapore for industrial allotments. The West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation Limited (WBIDC) has invited quotations for conducting a detailed land survey to demarcate plots on the designated land, which forms part of the larger 205.65-acre Kharagpur Industrial Park.The selected survey agency will develop a site plan and bird’s-eye view of the land using information provided by WBIDC.
