Seven of 10 CWG venues ready

The CPWD has completed work on seven of the 10 Commonwealth Games venues and work on the remaining venues is expected to complete in the next 15 days. CPWD is the chief construction arm of the Government and is undertaking the construction projects related to the games along with Delhi Government and the Sports Authority of India. The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the SPM Swimming Pool Complex and the new weightlifting stadium in the Nehru Stadium complex are the venues where work is yet to be completed.
