Tirupati Smart City Corporation has entered into a partnership with NEC Corporation India to establish a City Operations Centre (COC). The Smart City project also places significant emphasis on traffic management. An intelligent traffic management system is slated for deployment to regulate traffic flow, alleviate congestion during peak hours and work towards reducing road accidents. Furthermore, the project encompasses smart water solutions, environmental sensors and a public address systems to contribute to the city's governance.
