Ceigall India Wins Rs 6.03 bn NHAI Highway Contract

Ceigall India Limited has secured a Rs 6.03 bn contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to construct a 10.3 km six-lane access-controlled spur road in Punjab under the Hybrid Annuity Mode. The award was received through its wholly owned subsidiary Ceigall Infra Projects Private Limited and was issued on 27 March 2026. The contract strengthens the company's order book and affirms its role in national highway development.

The project will link the Ambala–Chandigarh section of NH-205A to the Zirakpur Bypass and includes an 18-month construction period followed by a 15-year operation and maintenance commitment. The Hybrid Annuity Mode combines government support with private execution and provides a degree of revenue visibility through annuity payments. The scope and timelines are expected to support timely mobilisation and delivery of civil works.

Chairman and Managing Director Ramneek Sehgal indicated that the award reflects continued trust from NHAI in the company's execution capabilities and aligns with the firm's strategy to scale up its highways portfolio. The order is intended to bolster the company's reputation as a reliable infrastructure partner and to enhance its capacity to execute time-bound, high-quality projects. The firm will leverage its project management experience to meet contractual obligations.

The contract adds to Ceigall India's expanding pipeline across engineering, procurement and construction and hybrid annuity formats and is expected to improve execution scale. With infrastructure spending remaining a central government priority, such wins position the company to benefit from sustained project flow and potential revenue growth. Ceigall India continues to deepen its footprint in road infrastructure as it builds its order book and delivery track record and future opportunities.
