On global grounds
With its excellent technical expertise, Armourcoat has developed polished plasters and high performance surface finishes. The firm remains at the forefront of sustainable decorative surface solutions with an outstanding product range, which now includes 3D sculptural effects and innovative panel systems featuring recycled material and low VOCs.
Development and expansion
Since 2001, the company has concentrated on the development and expansion of its export operation and product divisions. This has reflected a new direction for the company's business, evolving from a specialist supplier to a global decorative coatings group. A family-owned business, Armourcoat manages a UK contracting division and global export network to over 70 countries.
Guy Whitehead, CEO, Armourcoat, comments, "In 2013, we are planning to expand our presence in India. With over a decade of success in the territory, and as part of our global expansion programme, Armourcoat is now seeking agents across the country."
The company researches and manufactures all brand products in the UK and controls a worldwide distribution operation through over 50 agents and specialist applicators. "We do not have a typical agent type; some are large decorative contractors while others are smaller specialist teams working alongside specifications sales. What they do have in common is an understanding of the technical requirements for the brand, supporting the specification and quality installation of all our products. We do foster a 'global family' of agents, working together across country boundaries on projects and professional assistance," Whitehead concludes.
Armourcoat offers considerable marketing and technical support. An extensive worldwide programme includes sales and marketing conferences, technical workshops and local marketing initiatives to create awareness.
