ELGi Showcases Portable Air Solutions at bauma CONEXPO India

Elgi Equipments is showcasing its range of portable compressed air solutions for construction, mining and infrastructure applications at bauma CONEXPO India 2026, being held at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida.

Under the theme ‘Engineering Sustainable Performance Worldwide’, ELGi is presenting equipment designed to support productivity, reliability, operating efficiency and uptime across demanding mining, quarrying, drilling and construction environments.

The portfolio on display includes the PG 90E electric portable compressor, developed for crawler drilling applications across granite, marble and blue metal operations, and the PG 550-215 diesel portable compressor for demanding drilling requirements.

ELGi is also showcasing the PG 850S-290 and PG 1100 excavator-mounted air compressors, which have been designed for mining applications including coal and iron ore operations. The machines are intended specifically for excavator-mounted drilling applications and incorporate features suited to harsh and dusty worksites.

The excavator-mounted compressors feature an intelligent control system, turbo pre-cleaners, dual-pressure capability and an energy-efficient screw profile. They also offer anti-vibration mounts, single-sided service access and dust-protected controllers to support easier maintenance and improved equipment uptime.

According to the company, the compressors are engineered and manufactured in India while drawing on ELGi’s experience across global compressed air applications. The company currently serves customers in more than 120 countries.

Bhavesh Karia, Executive President – ISAAME & SEA, Elgi Equipments, said construction and mining customers are increasingly seeking equipment capable of delivering higher productivity, dependable performance and improved operating efficiency under challenging conditions.

He added that ELGi’s approach combines engineering expertise with application knowledge to provide compressed air solutions aligned with specific operating requirements.

During the exhibition, ELGi is also conducting product walk-throughs of the PG 850S-290 and PG 1100, including safety features suited to mining applications. Its technical teams are engaging with customers to identify compressed air solutions for their individual application and worksite requirements.

The company is targeting applications including granite, marble, blue metal, coal and iron ore mining, crawler drilling, quarrying and sandblasting.

Through its participation at bauma CONEXPO India 2026, ELGi is strengthening its presence across the construction and mining sectors while highlighting application-specific compressed air technologies designed for demanding operating environments.
