Beyond Boundaries

'Nothing too heavy and nothing too high' for satisfying the extraordinary needs of its customers, the Sarens Group plans for self propelled modular trailers in India.

The Sarens Group can be described as a 'specialist of the extraordinary'. Its activities include transport and handling of heavy goods, rentals and operation of cranes and solving problems linked with crane work. Sarens India, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Sarens Belgium was established in 2009 with an impressive business agenda to serve steel, petrochemical, and cement, civil, metal and mineral sector. Not only specialised in transport, the group is primarily involved in the handling of heavy goods. Apart from the rental and use of cranes, it is also involved in solving problems linked with crane work. With a yearly turnover reaching 370 mio EUR, the company is spread all over the world with a group of 30 companies and 2,000 employees.

Key success factors

Sarens success being its spirit of enterprise, the company also believes that the key to its achievements lie in the quality, safety, engineering and maintenance they offer. Our highly-qualified engineers serve all Sarens international entities and clients with state-of-the-art solutions and techniques. The engineers analyse the problem and look for the most appropriate solution.

The company guarantees safety as it not just delivers best equipment, but also trains people to operate this equipment. Delivering quality and service being another major factor, the company initiates best tailor-made solutions for its customers so that the work is done in an economical and safe way. For Sarens, maintenance also means quality, safety, and expertise.

Activities

Sarens Group is active in various countries with more than 580 hydraulic cranes. In the field of heavy life projects, the group has excellent references in the petrochemical industry, civil works and energy sector, and so on. Transport activities are concentrated on moving heavy equipment. Exceptional transports in some cases also become a part of the bigger lumpsum project where also crane works might be involved.

With plans to add self propelled modular trailers in near future, the present task for the company is to start transport of heavy goods of above 100 tonne capacity in India along with heavy erection jobs. Sanjay Khanna, Managing Director, Sarens Heavy Lift India Pvt Ltd, says, "We are providing total lifting solutions along with the equipment within stipulated time frame of the project. Our expertise is to offer heavy lifting solution with minimum capacity of crane which will optimize the total cost of the project. There is nothing too heavy and nothing too high for Sarens."

Vision and mission

Building its future on the foundations of a rich past; this is what made Sarens, a Flemish family business which later evolved into an international group. The company grows with the vision of being among the worldwide players in heavy-life and special projects. Safety, quality and service being its priority, the company visualises itself as an outstanding global market player.

Focus on future

Satisfying the often 'extraordinary' needs of its customers, Sarens maintains its permanent focus on future with its highly skilled crew and very advanced equipment. With the opening of the borders, the company entered the European market and successfully expanded beyond the European boundaries.

Prevention and security are priorities to Sarens. As the company believes, it would 'better be safe than sorry', when it comes to personal injuries and damage to material or the environment. Hence, the group sets an example to its competitors and positions itself among the leading companies in this field.
