Leading the front A Civil Engineer from the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore, KNK Swamy, who started his career in New Delhi, has a rich experience with world renowned architects such as Edward Stone, Joseph Allen Stein, Kanavinde, etc. He worked a Civil Engineer for Hochtief - Gammon at Rourkela Steel Plant and Tirath Ram Ahuja, New Delhi for 12 years besides being associated with several prestigious projects such as Escort and Escort Ford, Security Paper Plant - Hoshangabad, India International Centre, St Johns Medical College, Trishuli Hydel Project, Bridge over River Samba (J&K) Emergency Aerodrome at Bihtha (Patna), etc. He was later also involved as a partner in three projects - Turkish Ambassador´s Residence, Australian Deputy High Commissioner´s Residence and Regional office for Larsen & Toubro and ´Poclain´ assembly. In 1977, Swamy shifted base to Bengaluru where he laid the foundation of the KNK Group. Making its mark KNK Swamy´s penchant for quality is reflected not only in the projects executed by KNK Group but also its team of highly motivated and professional engineers. During the last 10 years, the group has surged ahead to become one of the most respected construction companies in South India.
