Gamesa Electric awarded with biggest solar project

Gamesa Electric has been awarded its biggest solar photovoltaic project involving the supply of solar power stations and control for a 53.31 MW project in Honduras. The company's scope of work will include supply of nine solar power stations of 2.8 MVA, seven power stations of 2.2 MV, three of 1.4 MVA and one power plant controller (PPC). Gamesa Electric will supply the power plant controller to ensure the fulfillment of the Honduras Grid Code requirements of the complete PV plant. The main requirements include P-Q commands, voltage and power factor regulation, LVRT (Low Voltage Ride Through).
