Core Sector Output Rises 3.7 Per Cent in December 2025
India’s Index of Eight Core Industries (ICI) recorded a growth of 3.7 per cent in December 2025 compared to the same month last year, driven by strong performance in cement, steel, electricity, fertilisers and coal. Postal Channel Opens Export Incentives for MSMEs
Department of Posts, under the Ministry of Communications, has recently enabled export incentives for shipments made through the postal channel, with effect from 15 January 2026. The move follows notifications issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs and allows exporters to claim duty drawback, Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products and Rebate of State and Central Taxes and Levies.
