Rope-Less Elevator

ThyssenKrupp unveils MULTI, the world's first rope-less elevator system, a first scale model launched with four cabins in loop operation. The MULTI system, with two 10 m shafts and four cabs, applies linear motor technology based on the magnetic levitation train Transrapid, enabling horizontal movement and transforming conventional elevator transportation into vertical metro systems.
