Row houses up for auction in Visakhapatnam

Row houses along beach are going to be sold in auction in Rishikonda area of Visakhapatnam/Vizag. The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (Vuda) will conduct an open auction for allotment of European-style row housing units (RHUs) on August 18. The row-houses are exactly located along the beach at Rushikonda, Vuda vice-chairman N Yuvaraj announced on July 9. Applications will be received online from July 10 till August 12.

The Authority has developed 88 duplex row houses over 6.78 acres at Rushikonda close to the Vizag-Bheemili beach road as a gated community. While 22 units were earlier allotted through the open auction route, now the notification for disposal of the remaining units following completion of construction was issued, he added.

Yuvaraj pointed out that the State Election Commission had accorded permission to take up the notification process for conducting the auction. A total of 65 units are available for allotment through the open auction in four categories. While 10 units in category-A with built-up area of 2,066 square feet (173.33 sq yards) are up for grabs, there are 41 units with built-up of 2,114 square feet (173.33 sq yards) in category-B, 6 units of 2,222 sft (187 sq yards) in category-C and 8 units of 2,386 sft (202.22 sq yards) under category-D.

The price for the open auction for category-A is Rs 71 lakh, for Category-B it is Rs 72 lakh, Rs 77 lakh for category-C and Rs 82.5 lakh for Category-D. The houses have amenities such as solar fencing, solar water heater for each unit and other common facilities.
