Adobe Deepens India Investment Opens New Office In Noida

Adobe Inc. has opened a new office in Noida's Sector 129 as part of an expanded investment in India focused on artificial intelligence-led product development and local talent. The campus is the company’s seventh office in India and its third in Uttar Pradesh, and it will house more than 700 employees across engineering and customer-facing roles. India remains Adobe’s largest workforce outside the United States, with more than 8,000 employees.

Company executives said teams in India play a critical role in advancing Adobe’s AI-driven strategy and that the new facility is intended to support intensified collaboration on agentic technologies. The workspace has been designed to support collaboration in an AI-centric environment and has been certified by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) at the Platinum level, which the company presented as evidence of its sustainability commitments through energy-efficient systems and environmentally responsible design. Officials noted the certification aligns with broader environmental targets for corporate campuses.

Adobe began operations in India in 1997 as an engineering and research centre and now contributes more than a third of the company’s global innovation output. The firm said the Noida campus will host cross-functional teams that contribute to product engineering and customer engagement, reinforcing India’s role in core product development. Senior leadership appointments and advisory additions were cited as part of a wider effort to strengthen local leadership.

Earlier in the year, Adobe expanded India-focused initiatives by providing students at accredited institutions with free access to tools such as Firefly, Photoshop and Acrobat and by partnering with a major telecom operator to make Adobe Express Premium available to millions of users. The company indicated these programmes are intended to broaden the ecosystem of creators and to accelerate adoption of its generative and creative tools. The new office is positioned as a hub for co-creation as more employees return to offices for collaborative work.
