The company said cleanroom construction at its SiC semiconductor plant in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, has been completed, with plant and machinery installation expected to finish by July-end. Epitaxial wafer production is likely to be commissioned in the second quarter of FY27.

RIR Power also secured its first overseas order for 5 kV silicon-controlled rectifier thyristors, to be executed in phases by the end of 2026. The company also developed a 25 kV–120 kA capacitor discharge semiconductor switch for high-power electronics applications.

Dr Harshad Mehta, Non-Executive Chairman, said FY26 was a transformative year marked by investments in scale, efficiency and customer relationships. Managing Director and CEO N Ramesh Kumar said the company’s order backlog of about Rs 17 crore provides revenue visibility for the coming quarters.
