All society members needed to apply for regularisation

Before applying to the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) for regularisation, you must receive 100% of the members' approval if you are the owner of a multi-story complex and want to regularise illegal construction, whether it is in a residential apartment building or a commercial complex. This is one of the three reasons why there aren't many impact fee applications being submitted to the local body.

The Gujarat Regularisation of Unauthorised Development Act (GRUDA) 2022, which governs applications for regularisation, has a June 16 deadline. As of June 1, the AMC had received 36,349 applications, of which 1,435 had been rejected, over 700 had been granted, and impact fees of more than Rs 7 crore had been recouped.

15 506 application-related websites have been visited by representatives. Only 10% of the 700 accepted applications were for commercial building, while almost 90% were for residential construction.
