Anushka Sharma, Parents Buy Versova Apartments for Rs. 258 mn

Actor Anushka Sharma and her parents, Ashima and Ajay Kumar Sharma, have purchased two adjoining apartments in Godrej Skyshore, a luxury residential project in Versova, Mumbai, for a combined Rs. 258 mn. The transactions were recorded in agreements for sale accessed by real estate data analytics firm CRE Matrix.

Both agreements were registered on July 8, 2026. The documents state that possession is scheduled on or before June 30, 2031, indicating that the apartments are part of an under-construction development, with payments linked to construction milestones.

Sharma purchased a 2,153 sq ft apartment for Rs. 148.9 mn and paid stamp duty of Rs. 7.45 mn. The apartment includes three covered basement parking spaces. Her parents bought the adjoining 1,577 sq ft apartment for Rs. 109.1 mn and paid stamp duty of Rs. 6.54 mn. Their home includes two covered basement parking spaces.

The purchase gives Sharma and her family ownership of three apartments on the same floor, including a 2,644 sq ft home bought earlier by Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli for Rs. 182.9 mn. That transaction was registered on July 21, 2026, and included 316 sq ft of exclusive area and three car parking spaces. The couple paid stamp duty of Rs. 10.9 mn and registration fees of Rs. 30,000.

Godrej Skyshore is planned with two towers, five basement levels and 24 upper floors. The project is to include 126 residential units and 12 commercial and retail units, according to the documents. The development is part of a wider luxury housing market in Mumbai’s western suburbs, where proximity to entertainment centres and proposed transport infrastructure has drawn affluent buyers.

Sharma and Kohli have also made property investments in Alibaug. In January 2026, they acquired adjoining land parcels near Awas Beach for a combined Rs. 378.6 mn. In 2022, they bought an 8-acre plot for about Rs. 190 mn and subsequently developed a villa on the property.
