CREDAI-MCHI to Host 10th Design & Construction Conference

CREDAI-MCHI will host the 10th anniversary edition of its Design & Construction Conference on August 19, 2026, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

The event is expected to bring together more than 500 procurement leaders, construction heads, architects, consultants and senior real estate decision-makers, alongside over 50 construction and ancillary brands.

The conference will feature product launches, technology showcases, knowledge sessions, strategic business-to-business networking and recognition of procurement professionals contributing to the transformation of the construction ecosystem.

The event will also commemorate a decade of the CREDAI-MCHI Procurement Wing, which was established in 2016 to connect developers with the ancillary industry and promote innovation, knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships.

Over the past decade, the wing has introduced initiatives including BizNet, WeConnect, Pitch to BizNet, X-clusive, Buildverse and the Spaciux Awards. These platforms have connected developers, manufacturers, contractors, consultants, architects and solution providers across the procurement and construction value chain.

The conference is being organised under the leadership of Sukhraj Nahar, President, CREDAI-MCHI. It will also recognise the contribution of Nimish Ajmera, Convener of the CREDAI-MCHI Procurement Wing, and its members in developing the industry platform.

The event will highlight the expanding role of procurement professionals in supporting cost optimisation, quality management, timely project delivery, technology adoption, sustainability and supply-chain resilience.

Procurement leaders are increasingly influencing decisions related to construction methods, product selection, operational efficiency and long-term value creation across real estate projects.

Participating companies will showcase new construction technologies, products and industry solutions. The conference will also include sessions on emerging trends, innovation and sustainable construction practices.

CREDAI-MCHI said the anniversary edition would celebrate procurement excellence while strengthening collaboration between developers, construction professionals, manufacturers and technology providers.
