GROHE expands bathroom offering with Essence ceramics launch

GROHE has strengthened its bathroom portfolio in India with the launch of the Essence Ceramics Collection, marking its strategic entry into the country’s growing sanitary ceramics segment. The new range expands the existing Essence portfolio and reflects the brand’s move towards offering a more holistic bathroom solution.
The collection includes wall-hung toilets and washbasins designed to integrate seamlessly with the Essence lineup. Combining minimalist aesthetics with advanced hygiene technology, the range is positioned to deliver both functional efficiency and visual harmony for modern Indian homes.
Speaking on the launch, Priya Rustogi, Leader (Managing Director), India, LIXIL IMEA, said, “We are committed to delivering bathroom spaces that offer reliability, design harmony, and long-term value. With our strengthened ceramics portfolio, GROHE now approaches the bathroom as a complete ecosystem—from sanitaryware and ceramics to basins, fittings, and intelligent water technologies designed for real Indian homes. As a priority market, India shapes the way we innovate and invest. Local manufacturing of the Essence wall-hung toilet is a testament to this focus—enhancing accessibility for Indian consumers while maintaining the superior quality GROHE stands for.”
In the basin category, the range features redesigned profiles with a slim 6 mm thickness and multiple configuration options, including vessel and countertop formats in round and lozenge shapes. The WC lineup is anchored by the GROHE Triple Vortex flush system, which uses three water outlets to ensure thorough bowl cleaning while optimising water consumption.
The Essence Ceramics Collection will be introduced through experiential retail formats and architect-focused engagement across partner stores and LIXIL Studios, reinforcing GROHE’s focus on design-led, hygiene-driven bathroom solutions for the Indian market.
