Maharashtra govt to list Mhada layouts for cluster redevelopment shortly

The list of Mhada layouts that will be considered for cluster redevelopment will soon be released by the state government.

A cabinet decision will be made soon, and Mhada will be chosen as the nodal organisation for the development of Kamathipura.

At Mhada Bhavan, Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minster, Maharashtra, held a review of all the city's housing initiatives. He declared that Mhada will take over the 68 pending slum restoration projects.

Additionally, the state will devise a plan to cover past-due rent payments as well as upcoming rent for inhabitants of abandoned Mhada and SRA projects. The authorities will shortly make the rent payment plan public.
