MHADA Konkan Board to Hold Lottery for 2,147 Flats, 117 Plots

The MHADA Konkan Housing Board will conduct a computerised lottery for 2,147 flats and 117 plots on February 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagruha, Thane. The event will be held in the esteemed presence of Deputy Chief Minister and Housing Minister Shri Eknath Shinde as the Chief Guest, with Deputy Chief Minister Shri Ajit Pawar presiding over the event.

The Konkan Board received 24,911 applications, along with the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for the allotment of these flats and plots. The application process for this lottery commenced on October 11, 2024, for housing and land parcels developed across Thane city and district, Raigad, and Sindhudurg under various MHADA housing schemes. In view of the high number of applicants, comprehensive arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth execution of the lottery process. Large LED screens will be installed inside and outside the venue for the convenience of attendees to view results in real time.

Additionally, applicants will be able to watch the live proceedings of the lottery from their homes through webcasting on MHADA’s official YouTube channel (@mhadaofficial) and Facebook page. The live stream will also be available at https://youtube.com/live/GyDu-FXxuHw?feature=share.

The list of successful applicants will be published on MHADA’s official website (https://housing.mhada.gov.in) at 6:00 PM. All winners will also receive notifications via email and SMS, informing them of their selection.

The lottery process is being conducted through the IHLMS 2.0 (Integrated Housing Lottery Management System), a fully digital and transparent system that eliminates manual intervention. Applicants who have completed registration and eligibility verification are included in the lottery. Once selected, winners will receive an official intimation letter, followed by a provisional allotment letter upon completion of the required formalities. The efficient and transparent nature of this system has contributed to the enthusiastic response from citizens.
